Participation Fees

The athletic participation fees are used to help pay the cost of the various league fees, uniforms, equipment, referee/officials, coaches’ certifications and required classes, and end of season celebrations.

Fees are per participant, per sport.  Fees are waived for the child of a head coach participating on that specific team.  All teams will have one specific head coach. No co-head coaches. Fees for assistant coaches are not waived.  There is no other compensation for coaches.

Payment is due at the time of registration.

Late Registration Fee

All activity registration periods will consist of a normal registration window followed by a late registration window.  These registration dates will be posted below on the athletic fee schedule.  Any registrations beyond the normal registration window will incur an additional late fee of $10.00.

All registration dates are set to allow time for the organization of team staff, rosters, equipment, uniforms and schedules.  Late registrations cause delays in planning and additional costs when ordering equipment and uniforms.  We encourage everyone to register their children during the normal registration window to avoid these extra fees and eliminate any other potential issues.

Cancellation Policy

One of the many tools the website provides is the ability to collect registration fees online via credit card. This service saves an enormous amount of volunteer hours and is a great convenience to the families registering players. That said, with each transaction that takes place there are processing and transaction fees paid by SPS Athletics. These fees are not refundable.

If you choose to request a refund, please do so by emailing the Athletic Director at [email protected].

A refund is not guaranteed. The amount of the refund is based on when it is requested and the amount of money already paid out by the school for team resources, ie. uniforms, equipment, league fees, etc. If refund is approved by St. Paul, $5.00 will automatically be retained by SPS Athletics to cover credit card transactions and admin fees associated with the registration process.
